Licensing
What you can and cannot do with OFFALAPTOP sounds.
Last updated October 21, 2026
Royalty-free for your music
When you buy or download a kit, you get a personal, non-exclusive license to use its sounds in your own music. That includes beats you sell or lease, songs you release on streaming platforms, YouTube videos and live performances.
No royalties are owed and you do not need to credit OFFALAPTOP, although a shout-out is always appreciated.
What is not allowed
You may not resell, share, upload or give away the sounds themselves, on their own or repackaged into another kit, sample pack, preset bank or library.
You may not use the sounds to train or build AI models or sound-generation tools.
You may not register the raw sounds with Content ID or similar systems. Your finished songs are yours to register, as long as you do not claim the individual sounds.
Loops and compositions
Some kits include loops or melodic compositions, and those may carry their own terms. Read the license or clearance text included in the ZIP before releasing music that uses them.
